Should I be worried about my General Electric investments?
ThinkinDifferently asked:
Not to panic, (Lord knows we don’t need that), but I’ve been hearing rumors about GE that make me suspicious of keeping my investments with company. I do not wish to elaborate, I just have an uneasy feeling about the coming week and I think it might be time to jump ship. Should I even be worried at all? If so, who should I invest in next? I’m just ever so creeped out by the market right now, any suggestions?

i want to start an investment company and i think people are afraid of high return investments by thinking it is a scam. i trade on the forex market.
so for the company i want to lower the monthly ROI so it will be more realistic for people.

What degrees would be most beneficial if I want to buy and sell stocks and work with other investments?

I will be signing up for the Air Force in the next week or so. After the next year I will be taking college courses, and since I will be active duty the military will pay for it. After I save some cash from my time in the military, I plan to invest all of it.

My company offers an employee stock purchase plan (15% off). Since the Enron implosion, I’ve read it’s not a good idea to invest a large amount of one’s money into your own company (or any one company, for that matter). What maximum percentage of my investments should I put into my company? Right now I’m putting about 15% of my annual investments in my company.
